Bucks County Community College Classes

Bucks County Community College

College Credit from Bucks County Community College and PCS

For years, Plumstead Christian School has sent hundreds of students off to college – now, college has come to PCS.

In partnership with Bucks County Community College, PCS offers a number of college-level courses at the Plumsteadville campus to Grade 9, 10, 11 and 12 students who want to get a head start on their undergraduate work. This allows students to take a class or two to determine if they really want to pursue that coursework -- at a significant cost savings over most higher learning institutions. On completion, students earn credits on an official transcript, as well as PCS credit equivalent to an Advanced Placement class.

Bucks County Community College was founded in 1964, fulfilling the need for a public two-year college to serve local high school graduates and other county residents seeking higher education.

Plumstead Christian is the first private school in Bucks County to offer this college-credit option.
